The cave is known by the name Büs di Tàcoi. Within its 1500 metres of subterranean caves, first discovered 100 years ago, are some of the best known karst (caves formed through dissolution of rock) formations: pools, lakes, meandering tunnels, caverns, chimneys, siphons with various stalactites and stalagmites of different colours which adorn the cavity and poetically introduce the “green lake”.
